Nicole and Steven’s wedding at Tuscan Hills Winery in Effingham was one of those days that just felt perfect from start to finish. October 4th blessed us with the most beautiful weather — warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and that golden fall light that makes everything look magical.
The ceremony started at 4 p.m. out by the vineyards, and the view couldn’t have been better. As Nicole walked down the aisle, you could feel the emotion in the air. Their vows were so genuine and heartfelt.
It was extra special for me to be there because I’ve photographed Nicole’s family before, and it was so nice to see everyone again. There’s something really rewarding about watching families grow and getting to be part of these big moments with them. And I have to mention their little boy, John — he completely stole the show. He was adorable all day and brought so much extra joy to every photo.
As the evening went on, the sky lit up with the most perfect sunset. The vineyards glowed in that soft golden light, and it created the dreamiest backdrop for photos. I had them stay out there taking photos until the last bit of light disappeared, the sunset was just perfect.
Nicole and Steven’s wedding was full of laughter, happy tears, and so much love. It was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. Congratulations again to the newlyweds — your day was absolutely beautiful in every way.
