An incredibly beautiful wedding starting at Revive Newton, IL. This salon had perfect natural light that allowed us to easily capture great photo and video of the day without being too intrusive with lights. There was plenty of space for everyone to get ready and the morning went perfectly smooth. From there, we headed to St. Francis of Assisi-Teutopolis. We had plenty of time to capture all of Lara Cox Schumacher and Tyson's jewelry and clothes as well as get some shots of the architecture of the church before Lara had to get in her dress. After Lara was ready, we set Tyson up outside for them to have a private first look. The couple got to share a little bit of private time (with us at a distance however) which is a hard thing to get to do during your wedding day. From there, we walked to the back yard of the church and took most of the portraits and bridal party photos that we needed to. Because we could do the photos beforehand, we were able to spend a lot of time between the ceremony & reception just driving around and enjoying the day at different places in Effingham. We ended up at Lara and Tyson's house and did a small photo shoot in their back yard with the pond. The lighting for the day was exactly what we needed for that to work. Typically, in the middle of the afternoon you almost are required to shoot at a location with shade for photos to turn out perfect. We were incredibly lucky and had huge clouds overhead that gave us a bright sunny day while still providing shade for us to take photos. After photos at their house, we traveled to community park for a couple more photos and then to The Orchard Inn. Tyson got to celebrate their wedding day by popping a bottle of champagne at the Orchard. We then headed from Effingham back to TTown to end the night at their reception. The Teutopolis Banquet Hall looked incredible and made a wonderful backdrop for Lara & Tyson to share their first dance and celebrate with their friends and family. We got to experience a "wedding day first", seeing the bride and groom crowd surf at the reception. We were so happy to have been able to celebrate your big day with you two. We hope you guys enjoy these memories for the rest of your lives. Congrats again!
