We had the opportunity this past weekend to head to Oak Terrace Resort for a beautiful wedding with Brittny & John. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Brittny & John had some of their closest friends do the DJing, officiating, and even playing the music for the reception as their band. Brittny had been watching the weather for a few weeks and was wanting to do a night time picture with the stars. I told her that we would have to get really lucky to have just the right conditions to make it work. We needed almost no moon, no clouds, the milky way to be showing on a certain side of their venue, and enough time to get far enough away from their venue to get rid of the ambient light. Well we got incredibly lucky because the stars aligned perfectly for us, literally. With that, I think we captured what is my favorite wedding photo I've ever taken or even ever seen. It may look like this is a photoshopped image, but this is what our camera captured that night. I ran around them with my phone for the light painting (the white streaks) while they stood perfectly still. We couldn't be happier to have gotten to celebrate and capture their wedding.
